Welcome to a new year! I know it’s almost mid January but we been busy here at Liquid Light Glass finishing up the year and getting ready for the Buyer’s Market of American Craft (BMAC) show that will be held in Philadelphia Feb. 18-21 for all galleries, shops and museum buyers. Sorry not open to the public. Every year we go and show our glass art and take orders from all these people which usually gets us off to a great start for the year. This is an important part of our business but the other important part is all the good people who visit our studio and showroom and help support us throughout the year too. So right now we are busy making all that art we have to ship by the beginning of Febuary. We will ship 3 pallets this year and we have another container back in Philly to create our booth. We think you might be interested in the whole trip and the process so we will keep you keep you posted in February as the trip unveils and give you the blow by blow. What you’re seeing in this post is the ‘pretty’ picture of our booth in 09.
We also have another paperweight making class this Saturday, January 15th at 10:30 at the shop and we still have a few spaces open if any of you would like to attend. You can get more info on what the class is and costs in the PAGE section on the right sidebar here in this blog under class descriptions. If you want to attend a group class or want to have a private event with family, co-workers or friends just give us a call to set up at 505-820-2222.
